Novena consists of nine hand knotted rosaries made from Butcher’s twine. Over the course of one long night, each of these rosaries was prayed in full. With each Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory Be, and Apostles’ Creed, the rosary in hand was dipped in a bowl of Bible paper pulp stained with red iron oxide harvested from polluted rivers in Appalachia.
